Product Description
Hand-woven from 60% recycled denim cotton and 40% natural jute, this Chindi Jute stair tread presents a tactile, flatweave construction with a textured medium pile. The design features a linear, modern composition combining vertical and horizontal striping with knotted fringe detailing along both long edges. A dark grey and deep blue ground is balanced by light blue denim fibres, sandy beige, and warm brown jute tones, creating a durable and visually dynamic surface.
Designed specifically for interior steps, this 23 cm x 76 cm stair tread adds surface protection and grounded texture to wooden or painted staircases. The industrial yet natural aesthetic pairs well with exposed brick, black iron railings, and natural oak steps. The blend of cool blue tones and earthy neutrals harmonises with coastal, rustic, and modern minimalist colour palettes throughout an entrance or multi-level living space.
