Product Description
Hand-woven from 60% cotton and 40% jute, the Chindi Jute stair tread brings organic texture and artisanal craftsmanship to interior steps. A crisp white woven field is bordered by earthy natural brown jute accents, creating a clean linear geometric border. The thick, flatweave construction provides a tactile, medium-profile surface, combining recycled materials with durable natural fibres for everyday functionality.
Designed specifically for indoor staircases, this 23 cm x 76 cm stair tread enhances hardwood, painted, or tiled steps with a grounded, coastal or modern aesthetic. The balanced palette of warm tan and off-white pairs seamlessly with light oak, whitewashed timber, and matte black railings. Lay a sequence of these treads along a central stairway to soften footsteps and add understated warmth to hallways and multi-level entryways.
